The state of Rajasthan is a popular tourist hub and it has a number of places that are not only famous domestically but are also renowned over the globe. On this tour you will be visiting some of these must-visit see places.

Immerse yourself in the splendor of shopping at the Heritage Bazaars with each shop named uniformly and uniquely. Jaipur holds the distinction of being the first planned city of India.Jaipur traces back its origins to 1727 when it was established by Jai Singh II, the Raja of Amber. He shifted his capital from Amber to the new city. The story goes that in 1876, the Prince of Wales visited India on a tour. Since the colour pink was symbolic of hospitality, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink. The pink that colours the city makes for a marvellous spectacle to behold. Jaipur rises up majestically against the backdrop of the forts Nahargarh, Jaigarh and Garh Ganesh Temple.

Once a private game reserve of the royal House of Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the world’s best known wilderness areas. Located 14 kilometres from Sawai Madhopur and at the junction of some of the geologically oldest mountain ranges – the Aravallis and Vindyas – Ranthambore offers some of the finest opportunities for sighting the magnificent tiger in the wild. The landscape is also dominated by the 10th century fortress of Ranthambore while the valleys have numerous cenotaphs, ruins and abandoned settlements overcome by nature – testament to battles and romances of an era long gone
