Day 1Arrive Sochi

Arrive Moscow and take a domestic flight to Sochi

The tour of Sochi, host to the 2014 Winter Olympics begins with the Olympic Park Sochi with a ride in buggy to see the sights and interesting places, thereafter the tour will drive up the Mountain Ahun, which gives a fantastic panoramic view of the Black Sea along with the 145km coastline, you will climb the iconic Stone Tower on the mountain which is visited by more than 100 thousand people, you will then drive down to the beautiful Sochi Seaport where one can take in the sights of the majestic yatchs, including the personal Yacht of the President of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladmir Putin, you will then walk through the center of Sochi on Pedestrian Street which offers various shopping options leading the way to the Sochi Embankment which is the favourite amongst the locals and tourists alike and provides a glimpse of the city and passes through the sights of this interesting city. The walk long the embankment will bring the end to this day with a drop back to the hotel.

Day 2Ropeway ride in Krasnaya Polyana

The most advanced and scenic ropeway system in the world with the highest point of 2300 mtr above the level! Krasnaya Polyana is home to a large and complex ropeway system that has 40 routes out which 35 are in active service during the Skiing season and during summer time. The total distance of the ropeways are anyone’s guess but local folklore says it covers a region of 100 kms with the web of routes that are in operation for most of the day and night. The ropeway system boasts of the best views, mystical slopes and forests and hosts the fastest and longest 3S system (3 cable suspension) in the world. With speeds reaching 30 km/hour and a single line 0f 5.8 kms awarding the world’s number 1 position to this ropeway system.

10:00 City tour: “Moscow the heart of Russia”
Sightseeing tour in Moscow will cover all the major significant places of the Russian capital – you visit the Red Square, the so-called heart of the capital, and then pass through the historic Alexander Garden, walk along the Manezh Square and visit the Temple of Christ the Savior. Next, your route will allow you to evaluate the unforgettable views of the Sparrow hills with Moscow University and Moscow Kremlin from quay – a unique river and majestic monument to Peter the Great by sculptor Zurab Tsereteli and also view of the Kremlin from Moscow river embankment and Red Square.
14:00 Metro tour
Moscow Metro plays a very important role in the life of Moscovites, and still is the main transport artery of the city. It is a monument of culture, architecture, a tour of the underground transport network will reveal secrets, a secret underground city. During Moscow Metro tour you will learn about the history of the Moscow metro, the beginning of its construction and development, the functioning of the Moscow Metro during the war.
