Gangtok, city, capital of Sikkim state, northeastern India. It lies on a tributary of the Tista River in the southeast-central part of the state at an elevation of about 5,600 feet (1,700 metres).

Around 2.5 kilometers from Pelling and located at a height of 7,200 feet above sea level, India’s first Glass skywalk is surrounded by the snow-capped Himalayas and overlooks the marvellous 137 feet tall statue of Chenrezig and the stairs that lead up to it, with golden prayer wheels on both sides. Visitors can also get a panoramic view of the Teesta and Rangit rivers. Looking down at the mountains through the glass floor of the towering Skywalk will definitely satiate the adrenaline rushes of every adventurous soul.

Itinerary

Day 1NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok(125 Kms/4 Hrs)

Meet & Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Gangtok. On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) Which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
(In case Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)

Day 3Gangtok – Pelling (120 kms / 5 hrs) via Chardham

After breakfast start for Pelling (6,100 ft.). Enroute visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 4Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour – Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for 2nd Half tour – Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 5Pelling – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra airport (145 kms / 5 hrs)

Check-out from hotel and take the departures transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra airport for your onward journey.
