Udhagamandalam , popularly called as OOTY by the tourist, is the Queen of Hill Stations. Centuries ago this was also called as Oththai-Kal [single stone] Mandu [ Mund is a name of Toda Village]. The British started calling it as Ootacamund. Coffee and Tea Plantations and trees like Conifers, Eucalyptus, Pine and Wattle dot the hill side in Udhagamandalam. Ooty is most famous for its tea plantations. This was the Summer Capital of the Madras Presidency during the British Rule. Often referred to as the ‘Queen of Hills’, the hill station is one of the most popular places to visit. One of the major tourist attractions in this Queen of Hills happens to be the Nilgiri Mountain Railways. A UNESCO World Heritage, a ride on the Nilgiri Mountain Railways is an experience of a lifetime. Other points of tourist interest include the Avalanche Lake, Upper Bhavani Lake and the Emerald Lake. Boating at the famous Ooty Lake also qualifies as one of the most exciting things to do in the hill station. 

Wake up to the smell of tranquilizing coffee, and enjoy the scenic beauty of this misty land of hills and streams. Day 4Coorg - Calicut ( 160 Kms/3 Hrs)

After breakfast KADAVU , ITS ONE OF THE FAVOURITE DESTINATION AMONG THE HONEYMOONERS IN NORTH KERALA , on arrival check in proceed for local sightseeing. Boat Cruise on the Chaliyar backwaters( own expense). Afternoon Local sightseeing. Evening Back to resort – Dinner. Overnight Kozhikode (Calicut) Check into North Kerala’s Backwater Resort. Relax for the evening. Stay Overnight

Day 5Calicut - Ooty ( 150 Kms/3 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Ooty. Check-in at Hotel. Sightseeing and overnight stay.

Day 6Ooty- Coonoor- Ooty
