The Andaman Islands are an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. These roughly 300 islands are known for their palm-lined, white-sand beaches, mangroves and tropical rainforests. Coral reefs supporting marine life such as sharks and rays make for popular diving and snorkeling sites. Indigenous Andaman Islanders inhabit the more remote islands, many of which are off limits to visitors.
Arrival at Port Blair in the morning/afternoon by flight/ship, on arrival at Airport our Guest Relation Executive will meet and greet and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, visit the Corbyn’s Cove Beach – 9 km from Port Blair – a coconut palm fringed beach, ideal for swimming, sun-basking & bathing. In the evening, attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail- where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Overnight stay at Port Blair.
Morning after breakfast departure by inter-island ferry to Havelock Island (57 kms by sea from Port Blair) + Visit to Radhanagar Beach at Havelock Island (Best Beach in Asia by Time Magazine-2007- and also Declared countries Best beach Announced by Tourism Dept. of India), in the afternoon ferry return back to Port Blair. Overnight stay at Port Blair.
After breakfast start for an Excursion to North Bay (Coral Island) – to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fishes and other marine life. Optional Activities – Snorkeling, Swimming, Trekking + visit Ross Island – from where the Britishers’ governed the entire A&N islands, prior to India’s Independence. These islands are an ideal destination for nature walk amidst sylvan surroundings with deers, peacocks, exotic birds, etc. Stay overnight at Port Blair.
Morning after breakfast start for tour of places in & around Port Blair (City Tour) – covering the famous Cellular Jail, Anthropological Museum, Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika) and the Cottage Industries Emporium (Sagarika) – for shopping & souvenirs. Overnight stay at Port Blair
Then drop at airport and Depart Port Blair with Fond memories of these mesmerizing Islands.
